Cloning Windows 7 - True Image 12 did not!!

Hello, this is my last ditch attempt to find a solution from True Image before I leave for good.

I own True Image 2010, 2011, 2012 but I am unable to clone Windows 7 64bit. When I do it won't boot and repair doesn't fix it either and I've had no choice but to reinstall Windows from scratch. I've read and been told this is an issue with Windows 7, Windows 8 and even Vista but my experience has only been with Windows 7.

I am prepared to buy another up to date version of True Image IF it solves this problem but I want to know it does and as yet I've not found that it does. I also own Clone Disk 7 which also doesn't work.

According to what I've read cloning Windows 7 doesn't clone the Bootloader for some reason?

There are free programs on the interest that I can try, I'd rather stay with what I know but I will if True Image can't sort this problem out, assuming it is still a problem of course.
