Configuration Not Found at Acronis startup
When I open Acronis True Image 2012 it searches for all backups on startup. I had previously unchecked this option and now it is back. I also notice if I try to uncheck it, it leaves a grey check mark. If I go to the log file it shows Configuration Not found and cannot be created.
My backups are still running although they no longer send me an email notification.
I'm not sure if it is truly lost or has lost some access rights. This is on a work computer and they do apply and change policies from time to time. Since I don't know where this file is I have no way to know what to have unlocked if that is the situation.
Any advice would be appreciated.

You are right the UI is bizarre. So grey for off Black for on.
Except that I have it off and it is still doing a search every time I start up Acronis.
And everytime I start up Acronis it says it cannot find the configuration.
So barring the bizarre UI it's still not working.
and yes I know you have to wait and wait for it to finish it's search before you can really do much at all.

Martin,
I have the same issue "warning in the log file about configuration file" on my Win 7 64bit system after I installed 2013. It doesn't prevent using the software. I have a question into Acronis to understand what this is about.
