Contradictory Articles - Acronis True Image

Thread needs solution

While referring to articles for critical information regarding compatibility of Acronis True Image, I found two totally contradictory articles, which would leave the reader unable to establish which information is correct.

I left the following feedback on one of the articles: -
"HELP!!!! Your articles regarding Acronis True Image support for Windows 7 are contradictory, therefore leaving me confused!
Article 3553: Operating Systems Acronis True Image Home 2010 Supports clearly states that Acronis True Image Home 2010 supports "Windows 7 (all editions)".
HOWEVER, in total contrast, the table in your article 2870: Microsoft Windows 7 32/64 Bit Support in Acronis Products, shows that Acronis True Image Home 2010 does NOT support any editions of Windows 7.
Please can you let me know which is correct?!?
I bought Acronis True Image 2010 Ultimate (with Plus Pack) because I was led to believe that it supports Windows 7. I run Win 7 Pro on my computers.
Thank you."

I haven't tried the programs yet as I'd rather be sure one way or the other first.

I have the Standard edition of TI 2010 and Windows 7 Home and have not seen any problems, I would not expect that your versions would behave any differently

TI 2010 was the first official Windows 7 compatible release.

It had some probs with W7 64bit versions in certain circumstances. But for the basics it worked pretty well.
