I need to replace a small drive in a Windows 2003 Server which also contains SQL2000 to a larger hard dive. Will Acronis True Image Home accomplish this task?

Hello Dennis,

Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.

Let me clarify this situation for you. Acronis True Image Home 2010 is a product for Home systems, it's not designed to work with Server OS's, such as Windows 2003 Server. The full list of supported system is available here.

However, you will be able to perform desired migration using Acronis Backup&Recovery 10 Advanced Server. This system does support your OS (for full list please check
Operating Systems Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Supports
). However, please note that in order to create an image of SQL database, you should suspend its services, in order to allow the product to create snapshot. The description is available in this article.

you can download the trial version of the product here. The functional limitation of the trial version is that you can only use a software for 15 days. Windows version is fully functional  and it does not have any more limitations.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

Thank you.
