Correct video setting for Intel HD 4000 in Rescue Media

Thread needs solution

Since the video corruption occurs in UEFI mode as a result of the Acronis Linux based Rescue Media what is the correct vga=????? setting for the Intel HD 4000 chipset?
CPU is a i5-3210m.

Why is Acronis not using the Linux Foundation UEFI Secure Boot System?

Peter,

If you are using build 5551 have you applied the patch? Build 6514 has the patch already applied. I wasn't aware that having UEFI firmware affected how Linux saw the video settings, unless the video card isn't being reported as the kernel would expect.

I can only suggest trying the different VGA options.

Because as of October 2012 it was in 'produced a plan' stage ; Because 'The pre-bootloader will employ a “present user” test to ensure that it cannot be used as a vector for any type of UEFI malware to target secure systems. ' - which excludes recovery with reboot on remote systems and require manual intervention on that computer.
