Acronis is constantly using CPU when I do not want it to. There seem to be no options to stop this. I do not want constant back up or monitoring.

Hello Michael!

It looks like there's NonStop Backup running. It constantly checks and backs up the HDD, and that's why you see the CPU load.

You can turn the NSB off: start the product and click the pause icon next to the nonstop backup. For detailed instructions see Acronis True Image Home 2011: Nonstop Backup.
