Crash on launch on Windows 10
Is True Image 2015 compatible with Windows 10?
I am getting an exception when I launch the program.
I re-installed, with the same issue.

I have build 6613 installed. (I backed up my system prior to the upgrade just to make sure I didn't lose anything).
Guess what, my 6613 is having difficulties reading my previous backup. Crashes every time I input my backup set password.
This is very worrisome for me.
I'm going to attempt a BOOT from FLASHDRIVE operation to see if I can recover my files. Yikes!!!

David,
Can I make the following suggestions please. If you'd like assistance with your issue, we need the exception information and anything else you can provide about the problem or error. Telling others that the program doesn't start after an OS upgrade isn't enough to help.
Have you tried uninstalling the program, and running the clean up utility before attempting to re-install?

Thanks so much shadowports!
Forgive me for spouting. It was a long and enduring effort to get this one system upgraded to Windows 10. (1 Month).
I've fought with the Windows Update component for weeks with really no luck. (I scoured many, many forum posts on many many resolutions).
I gave up yesterday, bought a "Full Install" of Windows 8.1, backed up all my files and completely reformatted that computer so there would be no lingering software issues. After I installed the OS, it prompted me just as I expected to upgrade to Windows 10. So I did the upgraded. It went well.
I got my accounts configured and running and proceeded to install Acronis to start restoring my files.
Acronis recovery crashed every time I started to navigate through my files right after I entered the backup password 3 times. It directed me to submit a crash report each time. But didn't see anything receipt or confirmation in email for the crash reports.
So essentially, this is a very clean system. Doing an install, clean up and re-install didn't make sense to me at the time.
I proceeded to uninstall/run cleanup utility/installed again. The problem remained.
To collect a system dump, I need to know which process to monitor and which procdump switch to add to capture the system dump at the time of the crash. The switch -ma creates a dump of the in running process so that won't work. I tried the "-e" swtich as well and got the same results. Not sure which switch combination to follow. I read the 2015 True Image documentation set as well, but it's pretty vague on what to do for capturing a dump file.
I've attached the system report and whatever dumps that I could muster.
Do have a suggestion on which executable I should be monitoring for a crash?
TrueImage.exe (This appears to be the process that is crashing in each case)
schedul2.exe (Probably not as I'm running ad hoc)
TibMounterMonitor.exe
schedhlp.exe
TrueImageMonitor.exe
I ran the TrueImage.exe until it crashed after entering my password 2 times. Left the task manager up and noted the red "Not Responding" message next to it's name. Then ran the procdump with the -ma switch while it was hanging. Attached that as TrueImage.exe_HUNG_150822_132344.zip.
I've been an Acronis fan since 2006 (True Image and Disk Director10).
