Create bootable usb harddrive with backup
Hello!
I am currently considering buying True Image 2010, but before i do so i want to make sure it is the right software for my use.
What i want to do is copy my entire harddrive to an external usb harddrive. I want to be able to restore files and software from this harddrive, and I am pretty sure True Image got med covered there. But just to be sure: If something happends with for example office word, I will be able to restore word from my backup with all my settings and such? But what is equally important is what to do if I have a complete crash, and are not able to start windows. I wounder if it is possible to boot the external harddrive with my backup, and restore windows, all folders and software directly from that without having to install windows from the CD again?
I hope you all understand what I want to do, if not just tell me and I will try to explain it better!

You can setup the USB drive to boot into TI (or other programs). Note that you can boot from the TI CD or flashdrive if Windows is corrupted/broken -- you don't need to install Windows so you can use TI.
