create image of disk c(ntfs)(size of image 30gb) with desnatation to disk d(fat32)

Hi
i need help with problem:
yesterday i created image of my disk C: (ntfs) size of 30Gb and selecet destanation of image disk D:(fat32)
after image was seccusfully created i had 3 files, 2files with size 4196Mb and last one 896Mb.
After reinstalling OS i cant get access to my files in backup image hit me error when i try to open each of three files.
What i've must to do to get access to backup files????
