Creating local system backup and F11 recovery

Thread needs solution

Hi Acronis Forum

I hope someone are able to help me.
I have purchased both Acronis True Image and True Image Premium version 2014 on the fact that I would like to be able to create a local system backup (entire backup locally on the computer) and use the F11-function at startup to simple recover from this local backup.

Though I cannot find this utility, I know it is possible. I just cannot work out how to create this entire system backup locally on the computer – I have the option of creating a system recovery using external media (CDs, DVDs, USB keys etc.), but not locally.

I have succeeded with creating backups locally, but only programs and files, not the system unfortunately. I need to be able to recover at startup, using the F11-function, back to the recovery of the system. I am aware of the fact that this only work when the hard drive is fully functional.

Does anyone know the trick?

In advance, thank you.
Kind regards
Michael

These items are listed in the Acronis tools section menu.

The Startup Recovery Manager is the method for F11 and the backups must be stored in the
Secure Zone (user created partition). The secure zone can be on the same disk or can be created on a different disk.
