Creating a working NTFS USB TrueImage device

Thread needs solution

To simply all my boot time programs and there updating I have transferred them onto USB memory sticks. The True Image one will not boot on my Dell laptop. I had the same problem with the W7 emergency program and Norton until I found it will usually work if the format is NTFS and changing to this had these working. But True image refuses to create a boot media without changing it back to FAT which will not boot. Is there a way of overcoming this problem?

I had this for the W7 emergacy CD copied onto USB but such a copy works as soon as the format was changed.
