Current backups not showing on Recover. ATIH 2014

Thread needs solution

My system backups are scheduled for Weekly. Incremental. When I go to Recover, the recoverable files shown do not include the latest backup date, in fact the latest recoverable file date goes back 3 months. The log shows my latest backup was successful. What is going on?

Have you looked inside your tib storage folder to make sure all your files really exist.

Obviously something happened to cause it. My suggetion is to stop using the problem task and create a new task with a new task name and point the new task to a new subfolder so there is no mixing of backup files from the old and new task.

Configure the new task with automatic cleanup as per example GH12 so manual deletion of old files is not necessary and force yourself to have more frequent full backup. Having too many incrmental backups is not safe for your data. Read GH25 below.

Thanks for responding. The files were also missing in the 'Add Backup'. I decided to create a new System Disk backup.

Thanks

Check out my signature link 2-A below. My recommendtion for the type backup that includes everything is the disk image backup which is selected whenyou use the option "Switch to disk mode" as per this 2-A examples.

As per myGH12 excample, do choose to use Custom for the backup scheme.
