Data folders in .TIB archive are EMPTY!

Thread needs solution

Help! I created a disk image backup of my c: drive with ATI Home 2011 on my Vista machine, then did a "clean" install of Windows 7 Home Premium (32 bit). When I went back to the .tib file in Windows Explorer to restore my "My Documents" folder, it was empty! I went to my itunes folders--empty! All the folders are there, but there are no files in them.

I tried "mounting" the .tib file, but I got the same result. What the heck is going on? When I look into other folders (like Windows), the folders and files show in the right pane of Windows Explorer, but when I go to any folder under "Users" I can see the folders in the left pane of Explorer, but the right pane is always empty.

The user account was password protected; could that have anything to do with it? Any hints or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Terry

Does the TIB file look big enough to actually contain the files?
Try to restore a folder from the recovery CD and see if it works.
