I got the box with Acronis True Image 2015 and tried to use the DVD. The start menu should open automatically. Nothing happened. When I double clicked the device, I got the message:
"D:\Autorun.hta is no valid win32 application".
There is no download problem involved, as I started the DVD.
Nevertheless, I tried a diagnose system start, with only basic services. That means, Iolo System Mechanic Pro and Acronis 2011 (and many other services) were not started.
It made no difference. The error remained.
Windows Update says that all important updates have been installed successfully.
What else could I do? Could it be a problem with Windows Installer? I didn't dare to reinstall it - and I do not exactly know how to do.
My operating system is Windows 7 / 64 bit.
By the way: When the DVD is present at boot time, Acronis True Image 2015 shows its start display.

I got no answer by now.
Currently, I use Acronis True Image 2011.
Have I to uninstall it before I can install Acronis True Image 2015?
