Delating Backup Files - Correctly

Thread needs solution

The help file for ATI 2014 leaves a lot to be desired in explaining how to do this. BY trial an error I discovered the correct way is to click on the gear and then you are presented with only two options:

Delete Whole Backup - The backup files and the settings will be permanently deleted.

Settings Only -- Remove the Backup from list but keep the backup files.

Third Option: I would like to keep the setting and delete the backup files.

I am assuming that I can use the Settings Only Option and then manually delete the backup files from the backup location.

This may help. use the program for the deletes as per this link. This keeps your task and deletes the files you select.
Don't forget if deleting incremental files, you must keep a continuous chain keeping all the oldest and deleting the newest with no missing numbers at the beginning. You may need to delete all the inc (if applicable) keeping the full. If you need further help, show a screen capture of your storage folder sorted in date sequence.
