Delete Secure Zone
I should know this but still need guidance. I want to delete a Secure Zone backup but not the zone itself so I can start with a base backup again. Please tell me how to do this cos my zone keeps getting bigger.

My software id TI 11 home and it does not seem to have the function you described. Have located the backup archives in Secure Zone but they will not right click for delete so they wont "get gone"

Hello,
JustPlainFred, thanks for your help.
Robert, let me assist you.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to delete just backups stored in Acronis Secure Zone with Acronis True Image 11 Home. This feature was implemented only in Acronis True Image 2009 Home.
So in your case you can delete Secure Zone with all its contents, then create a new one and start a new 'chain' of backup archives.
Please reply to this thread if you have any additional questions.
Thank you.

Ilya thanks for the response. I subsequently read up on this and found out that a new basic (total) backup to secure zone deletes the old plus all incrementals so I did that and viola... success. thanks again

An install of ATI Home 2011 did not complete successfully on my Toshiba laptop running Vista 64-bit.
I have downloaded and used the 2011 cleanup utility to remove the software. However I am still receiving the message at startup "non-system disk - press any key" . As the install of 2011 did not complete successfully I could not remove Secure Zone before removing the software completely.
In Disk Manager I see the following: EISA 1.46 GB, my C:\ and my D:\ drive, 644 MB of unallocated space, and a 698 MB Healthy primary partition.
Is it possible that the 698 primary partition is the Secure Zone? If so if I delete it in Disk Manager, will I be able to boot without the "non-system disk" message?
Thanks for your help.

To fix your boot problem, you need a Vista repair CD. If you have the Vista installation DVD you can use it as well to repair the start up. It might take a couple of passes with a reboot inbetween.
