Deleting Reserve Copy of Backup

Thread needs solution

Hello,
does anybody know how to delete the Reserve Copies created by a Backup Task. It has maxed out my 2TB drive and need to get rid of just the Reserve Copies. When I go to Windows Explorer and try to delete the files/folders it tells me that the access is denied and cannot delete them, even though I am logged in as administrator. I went to folder properties, assigned the owner to Admisistrator and still cannot delete the files/folders.
What kind of encryption/file properties did Acronis give to these reserve backup copy file such that I cannot delete them?
It has become very frustrating to say the least.

Thank you for your help.

Are you using Windows XP? If you are logged in as "administrator" I would assume so. In addition to assigning "administrator" as the folder owner, you would also need to give "administrator" "full" access permissions to the folder and the files contained within it as well. Be sure to check the ownership of the individual files in the folder as well. The owner you assigned to the folder may not have propagated to the individual files.
