Deleting System Files from Restored Partition

Thread needs solution

I did a recovery of C: to a sub-directory on another drive so I could recover some personal files. It was a full recovery of C: so there are many system files that I am unable to delete because they are owned by "Trusted Installer" and the only way I've found to delete the files is to change permission on the files one at a time then delete them. This will take forever.
Is there a way to delete these files and directories easily?

Boot using WinPE. It runs with System level privileges and should be able to delete the files. The Acronis WinPE Recovery media includes the A43 file manager utility to easily delete files. You find it by going to the command window and entering "CD \Program Files\Acronis\TrueImageHome\A43\A43.exe" .

Thanks for the reply Paul. I don't have the directory \program files\acronis
I do have a directory \program files (x86)\acronis\Trueimagehome\ but no sub directory called A43.

Thanks anyway,

Doug
