Dell/Vista computer locks up using ATI 2010 Nonstop backup
I recently upgrade to the new Acronis True Image ver. 2010 and all is well except when I try to use the Nonstop Backup it causes my system to lock up. It happens only after some period on time normally within 1 hours or so. Unable to get computer to respond to CTRL+ALT+Del. Must power down to get out of hang!!!
I am attaching a report generated by Report Generator. I attempted to attach my AcronisInfo file but was denied as the file was too big 5.53 MB.

Hi Dmitry Nikolaev,
I did the checkdisk on both drives as you suggested, however the computer still locks up after some time if I use Nonstop Backup. I do understand that the program uses nore system resources and will "reduce" performance. This is not reduced performance, this is totally locked up after the computer goes into the screen saver mode and turn off monitor mode!! At this point in time operation of the mouse and or keyboard will not bring back the computer to operation state. If I deisable the screen saver mode and disable the trun off monitor mode then after say 1 - 3 hrs (never the same time) the computer locks up and freezes completely. This only happens when I activate the Nonstop backup utility.
I am attaching a new report.txt file to this replay.
Thanks for you speedy assistance.

SOLVED
Below is a message I sent to this person with respect to the request for help. This forum seems very non careing about paying customers! As you can see I have solved this issues for now.
"Thanks for a reply finally however I now have decided to upgrade to Windows 7 and have done a clean install of said OS. All seems to be working fine now! The number of the thread was in fact part of the subject of this message! It seems to me that perople on the forum are not very organized or efficient. Not happy with the service or follow up I have obtained here."

I have the same problem, using windows Xp, start the back up and the shole computer locks up with about 39 minutes left. Is upgrading the os the only option?

Non-stop kills My DELL XPS system on Vista Ultimate, while it is running. It is weird, because it doesn't appear too outrageous in the resource monitor, but windows all go "Not responding", while it is running. I need to keep my PC running 24/7 to avoid it Non-Stop from running on power-up.
I don't particularly relish the idea of having to do a clean install. The whole point of using Acronis was to avoid all of that. If I *upgrade* to Windows 7, I wonder if I'll get it to work like James Daigneault with his clean install?
If there are any Acronis techies monitoring this thread, I'd much appreciate your input.

Hello all,
We're really sorry for the delay with the response and for the difficulties you've experienced.
Let me shed some light on the current status of the issue.
It's a known problem and our developers are working on it with the top priority. The fix for the issue will be available in the next official build of Acronis True Image Home 2010 that will be released soon. Unfortunately, I can't tell you the exact time frame of the new release.
We'll surely update this thread and will send a notification about the new build to all our registered customers.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Thank you.

Will the next official build be one that we need to pay extra for?

I just got an e-mail with the subject line "Acronis Backup and Security 2010 released! Save £35 when Upgrading!" [It is a £14.95 upgrade.]
Is this the bug fix Ilya mentioned?
My existing copy is "True Image Home 2010 (build 6,023)"
