Difficulty backing up Outlook 2003

My environment is Windows 7 64-bit and Outlook 2003. I have a TI 2013 File backup that selects the entire C: drive which is where Outlook is installed. When I go to Restore and browse to C:\Users\mylogin the \AppData folder is not selectable. How can I restore my Outlook.pst files if I can't browse to them?

Concerned that these .pst files are not being backed up I created a separate Email backup job. It runs successfully but the size of the backup file is only 130 KB. I have run it several times but the size is way too small for the 2.2 GB of email .pst files that I have. So what's going on here?
