Disk Clone operation fails in True Image 2012

Hi to the Acronis community.

I have the full version of Acronis true Image Home and am a registered user. I also have the "plus pack".

I used to be able to clone a disk in True Image Home 2011. After having upgraded to 2012, the cloning operation fails. I read some of the posts online detailing a fix for this problem concerning loading a different set of drivers but that operation messed up my whole installation. I reloaded everything and started from scratch with the most recent downloads from Acronis. I also read that this could be due to having a USB memory device installed and I have no such device.

I also tried doing a clone from the Acronis Bootable Media disk but that failed as well.

I am now out of ideas.

So, is Cloning a feature that is no longer supported by Acronis?

Hello Tom!

Cloning is definitely supported, it's one of the core features. Unfortunately I cannot say what went wrong due to the lack of investigation information. Could you please give us more details on what exactly happens when you're trying to clone the disk? Do you receive any errors? 

Acronis Info and Acronis Report from the problem machine would also be very useful.
