Disk Image Backup Failed After Installing New System Drive

Thread needs solution

I recently had to swap out my system (C:) drive for a larger one. I used Acronis to clone the old drive onto the new one, installed the new one and booted up the computer. All that worked fine.

This morning, Acronis was scheduled to do a weekly backup but the Disk Image backup has failed. My guess is that it has failed because it detects that the drive is different.

Is my guess correct? Is there a way I can resolve, or do I have to delete the old disk image backups and start fresh with the new drive?

Thanks.

How did the backup fail? Did you get an error message? If yes what was that message? More details the better for solutions to be offered.

I just realised I posted this in the wrong section. I'm using Acronis 2014, not 2015. Apologies for the error.

The error message isn't really all that helpful. Here are screen shots of the error and the log.

When I try to look at the connection settings, I get another error pop up, and a screen shot of that is attached as well.

Your backup destination settings did not carry over to the newly restored system disk. You need to reestablish connection with your NAS.

Thanks. I did that. When I checked the connection settings, I input the username and password, clicked Test Connection and got confirmation of connection. But when I click Connect, that's when the Internal error message pops up. The Authentication settings linked in the documentation basically indicates the same steps. Not sure what else can be done except to delete and start over.

I think you are right at this point. Often times unfortunately the editing of task settings does not work so it is necessary to start over.
