Disk image of multiple harddisks in one image

Thread needs solution

Hi everyone,

I'd like to know if it is possible to make a disk image of two seperate harddisks in one image file?

i.e.:

Harddisk one C:\ - 1TB Samsung SSD SATA

Harddisk two D:\ - 1,6 TB Intel P3608 PCIex RAID

into X:\mycomputer.tib - 4TB Western Digital SATA

I know that I could do two seperate tasks for it, but I'd like to have it in one file, which leads to the next question: If it is possible, do I have to give Acronis the target destination manually for all partitions within the image?

Best regards and thanks in advance.

It is possible to do what you are asking, this is the default scenario for ATIH when it present you with the 'Entire System' as the source selection on adding a new backup task.

If you have more than the two separate hard disks in your system, you would go into Disks & Partitions, then select the individual disks (& all their partitions) that you want to include.

Because this is a single backup task, the output will be to a single backup archive file (.TIB) - you can only select a single backup destination unless you go into the Advanced options and use the Backup Reserve Copy option.
