With docking station

Dear,
I took a backup of a system with acronics. The backup file is with sector by sector. I try to restore the backup file in new harddisk with docking station. Without any error the restore procedure completed but when I replace the new harddisk to the computer with oldone it is not going to boot mode. Only blank screen appears. But the system is detecting the harddisk. Can any one suggest?
