Documentation of TI 2010 when booting up from disaster recovery disk?

Thread needs solution

I use only the disaster recovery mode (booting from the TI bootable CD) for imaging my disks. In fact, I have not even installed the product on my PC. I use the disaster recovery disk (the ISO burned to a CDR) exclusively.

I have the documentation (TrueImage2010_UserGuide.en.pdf) but cannot find the section that describes TI in this mode of operation, all the options etc.

Specifically, how do I make TI verify the image after creating it?

Go through the process for Recovery and when you select the Image, r-click on it and you will see the Validate feature. I know ... damn silly place to put it instead of in one of the main menu items like it was before. It's as bad as having the Boot CD default to the "Windows" selection with a 15 second time out.

So there is no way to create an image (from boot CD) and automatically verify it?

I usually do this overnight. Now I'll have to come back to TI and manually make it verify the image after it has been created?

That IS silly.

PS: Where is the boot CD operations documented?

I manually create an image from a boot disk overnight and automatically verify (my preferred way of making an image of my system drive). Wake up and all is done and verified. Restore has not failed me to date - touch wood - from one of these images.

I boot from a VistaPE disc I built with Mustangs PE2 builder that has the TI plugin incorporated.

However I just checked the TI Linux based Boot CD and you can do the same
