Does Acronis True Image 2011 have support for Advanced Format 4K sector drives

Thread needs solution

Can some help me understand how advance format drives, ie with 4k sectors rather than 512bit sectors work with TI. I have made backups using a drive with 512bit sectors if this is restored to a new drive that uses 4k sectors will my data be readable?

Does anyone from Acronis read these questions about 4K drives? I posted similar question 27 weeks ago with not reply.
Support for Acronis Home has really gone down hill the last few years. I have been using TI for over 6 yrs now professionally and personally and support is not what it used to be.

There is no problem using ATI on 4K drives.

To maximize the performance, you need to align the partitions. To do this, you can either:
- pre-partition your disk prior to restoring using Diskpart and make sure that your partitions have an offset divisible by 4096 when expressed in *bytes*, OR
- restore each partition manually with ATI and (a) leave a space of exactly 1MB before the first partition, and (b) each partition has a whole number of MB in size.
