Doesn't Recover
Win XP Home SP3; True Image Home 11
PC was acting very slow. No new programs had been installed.
Usual virus scans, malware detection, etc. not helping so I decided to restore from a recent backup. (The backup was validated when it was created).
Selected Restore for entire drive C: (no other partitions present). Chose to delete current drive and restore from backup as was suggested by TI. This required a reboot which I agreed to do.
After Acronis rebooted the computer as part of the Restore operation, the desktop came up BUT NO FURTHER ACTION TOOK PLACE. The Restore never occurred.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

New Problem ...........
I have successfully recovered my hard drive from the last saved image.
After checking my most used programs (all working), and running CCleaner, I decided to create another backup to my external HD using acronis.
Although all programs, etc. are running well, when trying to create a new backup image, Acronis displays an error message stating that an error was found in reading one of the sectors and therefore cannot create an image. It suggests checking for bad sectors.
I ran Disk Doctor from Norton Systemworks whicich checked and indicated no bad sectors.
Re-ran Acronis Backup with the same results as before.
Since I never had this problem before with full backups every month, I wonder if somehow something in the "restored" image is causing the problem.
How can I get to run an up-to-date Backup?

Just realized that this would be better listed as a separate posting.
I will list this as a new post.
