dual boot xp pro & win7 with common data drive

i am about to install win7 64 bit on E: partition. xp pro sys files are already on the C: partition. all data is kept on D: partition. i expect to use the win7 boot mgr. at this time i am mostly nterested in using TI in non stop backup mode, so that it can be used similar to goback.

1. i expect that need to install true image 2010 in both xp and win7. correct?

2. what will happen eg: if data is changed on d: while in xp, then i go to win7 and proceed to change data on d: from there? will this confuse TI, since there will be a gap from where it left off in win7 and starting up again in win7 after being in xp?

3. if i ever need to restore, do i just do that from whichever opsys i was in last?

i am at the point of installing TI 2011. i have not received reply to the original post. i don't know how to proceed. haven't found any info about dual boot in the user guide, or replies directly related to my questions in the kb or forum .

btw: i am not, at this point, using TI to clone drives, only to archive and restore in case something happens and i want to go back to a previous state.
