On Acronis True Image Server Version 8.0 (build 1.002) i have the following (VERY CRITICAL!!!) ERROR:

E00070001: Internal Error: unknown interface type

Does any one have an idea?

I will be happy to assist you, but unfortunately without additional information it is hard to say why this issue occurs.

Can you please provide me with some details about your setup, this will help us to resolve this issue. Which operating system are you running, at what step exactly does this issue occur? Can you create a screenshot of this error? Please create a Windows system information file and send me a PM with it.

thank you for your help.

Acronis True Image Server is running on a MS Windows Server 2003 SP2. I didn't re-installed the programm actually.
The error occurs when the programm has nearly finished the backup-task. I attached a screenshot and will send you the additional logs in a PM.

Thank you for getting back to us.

I am not sure what your backup location is, but I discovered that this specific error message is caused by our software not working properly with iSCSI devices. This is a very old version, which had this specific issue. We corrected this problem starting with Acronis True Image Server 9.1.
