Email Back-up Hanging

Thread needs solution

I'm running Acronis True Image Home version 11.0 (build 8,022).

I perform back-ups of a full image, My Documents and email. I have had no trouble with these in the past and I have just created new full image and My Documents back-ups with no problems. But backing up email hangs - for hours on end. I use the default options and the process commences a usual, but never finishes. The log shows no error messages. Three times the process was shown as in operation but with 0% progress; once when I selected just one of my email applications/profiles the process got to 46% but went no further. Still no error messages. I'm backing up to an external hard rive and there is plenty of room. I tried contacting Acronis Support but the web site says this version is not supported any more.

Any ideas?

What version of Windows and what email program are you using?
