Email Backup -Progress Archiving -Nothing Happens?

Thread needs solution

I did the file backup/ email backup to my thumb drive.

The Operation Status bar does nothing it doesn't move at all , Should this be indicating any progress? How long should I wait for some progress to be seen ?

A *tib file is created on my thumb drive , even though the progress bar does not move and no message about "Task Completed" similar appears, just the window I have attached.

I will do everything possible in order to resolve the issue you experience.

Can you please clarify the exact title of the program and the build number? Make sure that you are using the latest build of the program. Check it in Help -> About. You can always download the latest build of the program from your account under Registered Products.

In order to solve the issue do the following. Disable write caching for the USB drive:

  • Right-click the My Computer icon and then click Manage;
  • Click the Device Manager icon;
  • Click the plus (+) sign next to Disk Drives;
  • Double-click the USB hard drive string:

  • Click the Policies button then click the Optimize for quick removal radio-button and click OK:

If the issue still persists try to reformat the flash drive. Also please clarify whether the issue persists if you choose internal drive as storage location for the backup archives?
