Email Notification Problem / No Sender Address

Thread needs solution

Since update to Build 6574 i miss in the Email Notification Settings the "From" Field. In the last version there was under "Additional Email Settings" a "From" Field where i could set a sender address.

I just upgraded TIH 2011 to build 6574, and not only is the Sender Address field gone, but also the Subject field. Now I receive notifications from the nonsensical email address "@[my-ISP-mail-server]" and a generic subject.

Why were these essential options removed?? Please put them back!

I've actually got to like the new format for "subject". It automatically tells you in the subject line the name of the backup and whether it succeeded or failed. better IMO than any fixed message that I could define. Now I don't need to read the contents of the mail. But I agree, for backward compatibility, the old advanced option should be available.

But I agree that the "From" address should be able to be specified. I believe that 2011 now uses your mailserver "username", if that is specified, else you get that "@[myisp]" issue you describe. But that is not ideal. For filtering in Outlook I would like to be able to specify the From address, as in 2010.
