Email notifications
I have configured email notifications in Acronis 2015. The "Send test message" works ok. The following boxes are checked:
Send e-mail notifications about the operation state
Send notification upon operation's successful completion
Send notification upon operation failure
Send notification when user interaction is required
Add full log to the notification
The notifications are directed to a gmail account. There is nothing in the gmail spam folder. Nor in the trash.

@William, did you ever solve this? I have the same problem.
@Enchantech, how would 2-step verification fix this? FWIW, the problem is from one of several computers only, using the same Gmail account. So it's unlikely that there is a problem with the Gmail settings.

Gerhard, please see the attached document for setting up notifications with Gmail.

Thank you, Steve, but the same Gmail setup with the same Gmail account works fine on two other computers, and the computer in question can send the test email. It just doesn't send any actual notification emails.
The situation is similar to the OP in this thread: Test email goes through perfectly. All notification options checked. No email in the sending Gmail account's "sent" folder, no email in the receiving Gmail account's inbox or spam folder. And no error logged anywhere in True Image. (Is there even a log in True Image 2015? I haven't found one yet.)
I even recreated the backup configuration from scratch -- same result.

Gerhard, there are logs in ATIH 2015 but no way to look at these from the GUI so please download a copy of the Log File Viewer app (link in my signature below) which will allow you to check all the available logs.
With regards to Gmail, I have this working fine on my systems but am aware that other users are seeing problems when using the same settings.
The main configuration setting that you must use with ATIH and email notifications is Port = 587 and TLS as the alternative port 465 and SSL will not work with most email providers due to being too old / insecure.
I have this working with a number of different email providers including Outlook.com etc.

Thanks for the log file viewer. I'll see what I can find there.
I also have the exact same email configuration working on two different systems, but for some reason it doesn't work on my third system.
I'm using TLS and port 587.
