Thank you for finding time to submit new tyhread regarding this issue. Unfortunately due to the lack of sufficient idiagnostic information it is hard to say what went wrong, and we cannot proceed with investigation since Acronis True Image Home 2009 officially doesn't support Windows 7, was never tested on it and we do not guarantee that it will work on Windows 7.

As a workaround I would suggest you to try Acronis True Image Home 2010 Demo version and see whether the issue persists. I'd also advise you to remove Acronis True Image Home 2009 from Windows 7 before installing the trail version in order to aboid possible technical issues.

I did as you suggested and uninstalled TI 2009 which you said was not compatible with W7, but, nevertheless, did create images. I downloaded and installed TI 2010 as you suggested because IT was supposed to be compatible with W7. Attached is the first message I got when I attempted to start TI 2010. As you can see, it is also incompatible. I followed the instruction an they said to contact Acronis about the problem. So here I am. At this time I do NOT have ANY image backup program. Thank you.

I have waited too long for a response. I have decided to use Free Paragon. They respond to my questions right away. I have tested it and it does like I want.
