End of File...No Restore..Don't know what to do

I trashed my SSD today and used the Acronis Boot Media to restore my backup. This is windows x64 and it WAS 8.1, Acronis TI 2015 build 6525.
Everything was fine, selected the most recent backup and "let her rip"...except I got an end of file and the recovery stopped . Did a retry a few times to no avail. Really disappointed. I've used Acronis since 2009 and it has always worked. Any idea what this error means?
I can open the backups in explorer and view all the contents with no problem.
Also, I notice all my backups are about the same size 45GB, except one which is only 9GB. I don't do incremental backups; only full.
