ERROR E00070021 Unable to create volume snapshot

System Specs:
Main Board: GeForce 6100-M7 + Athlon 64 3000+

1 Gig of RAM
Windows XP SP3
Acronis TrueImage Home 11
Primary (boot) drive is 500 Gig partitioned as C (35-Gigs) and D (remaining 450 Gigs)
Drive R and drive S are both Western Digital 1.5T. R is internal and S is in USB enclosure.
I've tried the instruction at this address to no avail.

Operation that is failing is imaging drive R to drive S.

Additional information:
Imaging C to S is successful.
Imaging D to S it successful.
Imaging R to S fails with above error.
All drives seem to function normally.
All drives pass drive extended fitness tests.

Let me assist you.

Could you please try to create an image of your R drive and save the image to any other of your drives? Please provide me with the results of the operation.

Additionally, please try to back up using a bootable CD and check if the issue still persists.
