Error kernel-power when canceling of changes TryDecide TI Home 2012 bild 7119

Thread needs solution

Hello! When i cancel changes in TryDecide, after reboot, in event log Windows 7 x 32 there is an event 41 kernel-power:

EventData

BugcheckCode0BugcheckParameter10x0
BugcheckParameter20x0
BugcheckParameter30x0
BugcheckParameter40x0
SleepInProgressfalsePowerButtonTimestamp0

According to article Microsoft, event corresponds to the scenario 3 (supply switch-off, hardware breakage, etc.) http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2028504

Outwardly, shut down Windows is correct.

What actually happens? Whether can have it negative consequences for system?

Thanks.

 Hello Alex,

Thank you for posting this question. I will be happy to answer it.

When you start Try&Decide Mode on your system, the moment of start is captured during your system is online. All the actions you perform after this moment will not be included to the initial snapshot. When you cancel changes in Try&Decide with the reboot, operating system is being shut down in a normal way and would not give out any kind of error of power loss. But when it starts, Try&Decide Mode reverts all changes to the moment when the snapshot of the operating system was taken, e.g. to the online state. Thus, after reboot, operating system does not have any information about the previous reboot as if it was forcefully rebootet, and throws out the errors like above.

You can safely ignore such errors as the same errors would appear if you restore a backup taken of a life operating system.

If you need additional help, please let me know.

Thank you.
