Error message E00180007: Fehlerhaftes Medium! (Faulty medium)
I’ve tried to create a bootable rescue media with TI Home 2009 Build 9.608. But it didn’t work. I got the error message E00180007: Fehlerhaftes Medium! (=German version/faulty medium?)
The same happened when I tried it once more with another disc.
So please could someone give me an answer how to create this rescue media and what’s the reason for this error and what I have to do?
Thanks!

Hello Alexander,
That would be fine. And please don’t forget an instruction what I exactly have to do.
All my Acronis products are registered on the German Acronis website.
Acronis TI Home 2009 I have registered at June 2009. Hope this helps?
Thank you.

Hello Tjarko,
The cause is that I do not see 2009 version registered under your e-mail. Could you please PM me with your serial number so I can send you a link?
We are looking forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience.
Thank you.

Hello Alexander,
I’m welcome to do this. But there is another “problem” for me:
I think PM means Personal Message or so? (Sorry I’m German and not so familiar with all the American abbreviations).
But I don’t find any advice how to do this (like on other Forums). So please give me a note how to send you a PM.
Perhaps it also would be a good idea to point this out in your Forums for all the Beginners like me?
Thank you.

Hello Tjarko,
You can find screen shot and instructions regarding sending Private Message at Grover's Guide (the very beginning of this Guide).
Thanks,

Hello Alexander,
Thank you for your link. I’ve downloaded the file but when I double clicked on it, the program Nero Burning Rom was opened. So please let me know what I exactly have to do to fix the issue mentioned. I’m still missing any instruction.
Thank you.

Hello Alexander,
Sadly it doesn’t work. As well as I think being familiar with burning ISO, I fail to burn it.
Although I tried for several times burning this image of your file, I always get the errror message: Could not perform endtrack.

So please have you any idea what’s this problem and how can I fix it?
And again: It’s not plain to me what exactly I have to do with this iso file on my CD-ROM, when I will be successful in burning in the near future ;-)
Have I to boot my computer with this CD or what have I to do???
Sorry to say, but your comment: “So you should burn that ISO with it and reproduce the issue” is not very helpful for me.
I woul appreciate your help.
Thank you.
