Error: "Specify the location of the Volume 1"
I have a 100GB backup of a client which consists of a C and D drive backup. When I try to browse the backup I get an error message "Specify the location of the Volume 1", there is a MyBackup1.tib file present. The files go from 1-26, each 4.2GB. They are sitting on an internal SATA drive, so there should be no problems with hardware errors.
By hitting cancel numerous times and I can get to browse the D drive but not the C drive where all the critical data is situated.
I've tried to use Acronis True Image Home 2009 with which this was originally created and also the trial version of 2010. Neither work. Is there any way to get to this data? The original harddrive has crashed and died with no chance of any recovery and this is the only copy of the data.
I've submitted a support request to Acronis recently, Case #00472141, but not received any feedback. Is there a tool to get access to corrupt archives. It seems to be a common problem from the reading I've been doing.
