Error using "Clone backup settings"

Thread needs solution

I recently purchased TIH 2011. I did a complete uninstall of TIH 2010. After the 2011 install, I had to rebuild my backup jobs. I have 6 logical disks that I want to backup on schedule, so each needs a separate backup job.

I began by creating the first backup job for my C: drive. The name of C: drive is "C_S1_Boot", which is the name TIH assigned to the job. I didn't like this job name, so I changed the "Backup Name" field to C_Image. When I finished editing, I saved the job.

Next, I cloned the settings from this job and built my D_Image job. And then doing the same for each disk (E;, G: I; & K: logical drives).

All OK so far (I thought).

Then the jobs started running over the next few days. To my surprise, when I looked at the the actual files on disk using Windows Explorer, at the highest level, they are all named the SAME!

C_S1_Boot_(C).tib
C_S1_Boot_(C)2.tib
C_S1_Boot_(C)3.tib
C_S1_Boot_(C)4.tib
C_S1_Boot_(C)5.tib
C_S1_Boot_(C)6.tib
C_S1_Boot_(C)7.tib
C_S1_Boot_(C)8.tib

Going down to the 2nd & 3rd levels each Windows Explorer entry looks like this:

C_S1_Boot_(C).tib
     C_S1_Boot_(0)
          C: (actual drive backed up)

Obviously this crazy structure makes it impossible to visually see which backup job represents which logical disk. I have to manually click twice on each job in Windows Explorer to see the actual disk that was backed up.

WHY doesn't TIH 2011 simply name the backups using the name that I gave them in the "Backup name" field?  I expected to see the name C_Image on Windows Explorer, just as I did in TIH 2010.

"Clone drive settings" does not appear to work very well and given the results I am getting I would recommend NOT using this functionality.

To change the name of the TIB file, it is not enough to change the name of the task in ATI 2011. When you set up your task or edit your settings, you have to click on the destination, choose browse. This will open a new window where you can enter the TIB file name. Careful! First, make sure that you have created the target folder before, outside of ATI: the create new folder doesn't work well. Second, double click your way using the left navigation panel until you have opened your target folder.
