Evaluation not going well for Online Backup

Thread needs solution

I was tasked with finding an online backup solution for our company recently. I was working with iDrive when I noticed that Acronis had an online solution. Since I use their imaging software for a lot of our internal drives and server backups, I thought it would be a good fit.

Unfortunately, after 3 days of trying to get it to work, I'm about to throw in the towel.

I downloaded and installed the Acronis 10 Online Backup software per my account's instructions, installed it, created an account after starting the program, set up a backup task and then start that task.

Every time I do so, it just sits there telling me it's "running" yet the progress notification never moves from 0 percent. I've let it sit for 1 hour and 30 minutes without success.

Needless to say, I'm not really that impressed with this product.

Update: It finally appears to be backing up now. I don't know what's different as I used the same steps again just now. But it appears to be backing up at this time. I'll have to keep an eye on it. That it took so long to get it working doesn't inspire a lot of confidence with me, though.
