Event Log & Calendar shows Failures

Thread needs solution

TI Home 2010, Build 7046, Win7 Pro 64bit
I have a single task set, every 2 days an incremental backup. Task Management, Calender shows failed on every date, but email confirmation shows it as OK.
Event log shows two tasks;
1) No such script '71001E90-B290-4D07-91AF-43A8A3979E8F', failed to process....... followed by completed with errors
2) 'named backup' Operation has succeeded.

Viewing details of the error event and following links to 'more info can be found at.........' shows nothing found
Checking the 'named backup' task shows that its scheduled to run at a time as in event (2) the log events show that task (1) is run exactly 1 hour prior to my scheduled backup.

All very puzzling
Thanks

Hello David,

Thank you for your post. I will do my best to resolve this for you.

There can be two causes for this issue. The task is running under a Windows user account different from the one the task was created or, the original backup script was removed from the backup folder. I would definitely recommend to check the following article that deals with this issue.

If there is anything else I can do, please let me know.

Thank you.

There was no task created under a different user name.
I followed the article and deleted the offending task, leaving the one that I had origonally created.
At the next schedule the task failed / didnt run.
I again used schedmgr, which now showed 3 tasks, I zapped all tasks, returned to Acronis GUI and created a new schedualed task. I manually ran the task and it completed. If it fails at the next scheduled time I'll let you know
T/Y

Well scheduled task completed with errors namely;
Details: Cannot find a partition with path '\local\hd_sign(4CFCC98F)\part_sn(34EC8EEF4A34EC9F)start(206848)'.

Hello David,

Thank you for getting back to me.

This error message is caused by the missing snapapi.dll file. Please launch the installation package, click to install the program and select repair installation. This should fix the problem.

If you need additional information you can check the following Knowledge Base article.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you.
