EXT4 Issue

Hi ,
I Have a EXT4 backup on my external hard Drive ( performed with acronis )but trying to restore (running on XP OS ) it through ATIH 2011 failed and led to 2 kind of problems (even with choosing an EXT4 partition on my local hard drive )
1) A BSD asking me to uninstall any backup softwares
2) A Message from the software it self telling me that the restore process has failed .

On UBUNTU 10.10 , wine does not seem to resolve the problem and the ATIH does not work effectively on this Linux Distribution .

What to do , knowing that ATIH 2011 recognizes ext 4 partitions ???

The Error with Ubuntu is (DDE) Dynamic Data Exchange error . Could I some how run ATIH 2011 on ubuntu properly with wine ?

Did you try booting to the TI CD and performing the restore?

I doubt TI would function correctly in WINE, though I've never tried it. I just don't think it could "install" correctly and have the access it needs to the drives/system.
