External HD (Source) not readable after full Backup
After backing up my 500GB external HD to a 1TB HD with TI Home 10, I can no longer access the data on the source HD. When I use the Checkdisk /f feature from the C:/ prompt, it shows the data being on the drive and that there are no problems with the hard drive, but Windows will not access the data in Explorer or through Acronis either. When I go to Recovery within TI 10, it shows all the 500GB in data is on the 1TB backup HD, but when I try and recover it, it produces an error message.
I suspect the problem stems from not allowing the backup to fully complete. When I try and access through Acronis, it says the source hard drive is not formatted and do I want to format. Does any one know any tricks to access the data on the original source drive, without reformatting the entire HD and starting from scratch?
