External usb drive not detected while booting with rescue disk

Thread needs solution

My Setup:
-
When booting from the rescue disk with a usb to compact flash adapter connected (iogear guh287) to the PC, the compact flash card is not detected. However, I was able to generate the acronis linux report and have it saved to the compact flash card. How do I get the compact flash to show up so I can back it up. The report is attached.

Thanks.

What build of Acronis are you using? The boot media may not have the drivers it needs to properly detect this device.

I am using build #6154 (Boot Media) and am not having any issues with USB drive detection in ATI.

Things you can try:
Use latest build of ATI (currently) #6154
Verify USB controller settings in BIOS, Make changes if needed
Consider using other storage media

Support might also be able to provide updated files that you can build new boot media with.  You'll have to open a case for this though.

This is not uncommon and should not be considered a defect in the software.

I am using build #6154 as well. The USB controller setting in BIOS is turned on. I do not have another USB adapter to CF adapter to try but I will try with a USB thumb drive just to see if that works and differently.

Thanks.
