Failed to back up file or folder 'D:\'.
OS : Windows 7
PC : Acer Travelmate 7750G
Acronis Software :
Acronis True Image 2012
Acronis Upgrade :
Acronis True Image 2015
I've recently upgraded my old acronis software to the 2015 version, and successfully installed the whole program (thus directly from the website). Everything seemed to work naturally.
Since I like to make several backups, amongst which incremental ones too, I've decided to only backup my profile user folder (thus the one with my name), to an empty external drive with more than enough space, both aren't corrupted.
Directly after I've pressed the backup button, this error occurs :
"Failed to back up file or folder 'D:\'. "
for which there doesn't seem to be a straightforward solution.

I might just have done something stupid somewhere, unfortunately, the few information in this error, can't seem to enlighten me with what exactly that is.
If I choose 'Ignore All', the backup proceeds and takes a while (as it should).
When done, I find the image on my external drive, when I double click it,
an explorer opens with a folder with my name on it, within I find these disks,
in the disks all these empty folders, of which I recognize few.
(no screenshots yet, I deleted the content to retry the backup procedure,
unfortunately before taking a screenshot, the backup is now running and might take a while.)
The latter seems weird to me as well, but this might be normal.
Thanks for your concerns,
Kind Regards
