Failed to connect to the sync server error message ATI 2013 & 2014
Hi Everyone
Yesterday, I noticed that my local USB drives weren't syncing in ATI 2013. I deleted the sync from ATI and tried re-created the sync on G: and on H: and I got an error saying H: is already in a sync. I logged into my ATI account and deleted the 2 linked computers, tried again and still failed with the same message and also "Failed to connect to the sync server"
Tried again today, same messages. Deleted pem files & sync folder and still Failed to connect to the sync server when creating the sync. So, start again. I ran the cleanup utility and decided to bring the upgrade to 2014 forward. That went OK. ATI installed and activated. I tried the sync again and get "Failed to connect to the sync server " when trying to login for syncing.
I can login to my Acronis account, get serials etc and changed the password. Using the same user and new pass but still Failed to connect to the sync server. Posting in forum needs user and pass so something is working.
Is there any thing else I can try to sync
Regards
Ian

"Failed to connect to the sync server"
I'm just starting with Acronis True Image 2013 (Windows 7, 64 bit) and am having the same problem that Ian describes in entry 47271:
"Failed to connect to the sync server"
I can log on to my account on the web-site OK, but not in ATI.
I've played around with Windows firewall and MS Security Essentials, but to no effect.
Any suggestions appreciated!

Error: "Failed to connect to sync server". Unfortunately, I have nothing to delete, change, restart or otherwise tweak. I use W-7-64 and have only 2014 installed. Have never had this (or any) error before. Product always presented me with an immediate Backup / Restore options dialog box.
Anyone have any clue what's going on here? I need to back up this data soonest.
