Failed Reboot after Try and Decide "Discard Changes and Reboot"

Thread needs solution

So I used Try and Decide several times over the last couple of months with little or no issue. Each time, I choose to discard changes and reboot and I had no problems. However, my last discard and reboot, I got this message
PXE-E61: Media Test Failure

and then followed by
Reboot and Select Proper Boot Device or insert boot media in selected boot device/

Now...
I have checked the cables to make sure they are connected. They are exactly where they should be. I found this check to be silly, but at the same time, if the problem was this simple I would be overjoyed. No luck though, still got the message.

I went to boot screen and checked that my hard drive was on the list. It was. I selected it and still and still got the previous error message.

So, now, I am stuck. I real like some sort of solution to this where I can get my PC back in working order. It was a month since I last mounted and image and I would hate to loose that data over a failure on the part of Try and Decide. However, if they only solution is trying to boot up with a CD then so be it

Diego,

Could you please give some more details about your PC and th eOS you are using? Check in your BIOS to see what booting from LAN/network is set at.

If you can download a disk utility which boots from a CD/USB and check to see if your OS partition is showing as 'active'. Or use the Windows repair disk for W7 or W8 if W7/8 system if you are happy with using the command line.
