Failed to send e-mail notification.

Thread needs solution

I have just set up a new scheduled backup. According to the logs, everything is working fine. But I continue to get an error message, "Failed to send e-mail notification".

I do understand that there is a tick box in the Disk Backup options/notifications tab for "Send e-mail notifications for operations state" but this box is not ticked. I cant see what else can be raising this error.

Can anyone help or is anyone else getting this puzzling error?

Thank you for posting your question.

If no e-mail notification is set, then I recommend you to activate in the options the notification, and to examine whether there are entries. If so, delete it to remove entries, and uncheck the option. Look at my attached screenshot, I have entered there a test server and e-mail notification is disabled again. Nevertheless, the present record. You also can use the Button 'Reset to initial settings'.
