Failure to backup with windows 7

I have just installed Acronis 2010 on Windows 7 and after nealy 1h30 a pop up warn me that the backup failed. I tried three time with different settings the same thing happens. Can you help me? I was used to Acronis 11 on Vista and everything worked just fine. Thank you JFD

TI 2009 is the way to go. I jgot a new Dell Win 7 machine. Backup was flawless with TI 2009. I even restored win7 with the backup file without any hitch. (note: I saved backup tib files in external drive).

I would agree, I use TI 2009 - used it on Vista 32 bit and now on W7 64 bit and it works flawlessly and always has done, whereas TI 2010 seem something of a nightmare version if you read the forum posts.
